Roosevelt Young Men's Group Presentation at PPS

I've been filming the Young Men's Group at Roosevelt High School for a few months now.  Led by my friend, Chris Williams, and his partner, Rakeem Washington, the group meets every Wednesday to discuss issues around black male empowerment, life, music, health, and a lot more.   This last Tuesday, a handful of the students presented to an audience of Portland Public School employees, and others from the education and social justice fields.  They talked about their lives, histories, and the challenges they face as young black men in the education system.  Click on the video below to watch the whole discussion.
